Sail Smarter
with the Automatic Sailing Logbook
Wouldn’t it be great to have a complete ship’s log with your routes, maneuvers, sailing performance, and weather conditions – all recorded automatically and available anytime, anywhere?
That’s exactly what the Smartboatia Hub does for you.
It logs and stores essential data continuously:
- Vessel instrument data (e.g., GPS, wind angle & speed, heading)
- Internal sensor data (e.g., heel, motion, pressure, battery voltage)
- Smart event detection (e.g., anchored, docked, underway)
- Automatic maneuver recognition (e.g., tack & gybe)
Automatic Logbook
How it works
The Hub collects and saves data from your yacht’s instruments every second, giving you a precise and complete picture of your sailing activity.
The Smartboatia App visualizes the data over time, helping you spot trends and patterns you’d never see from a simple snapshot.
Best of all, the built-in Smartboatia AI can already detect when you’re sailing, docked, or anchoring – as well as maneuvers like tacks and gybes. And it keeps getting better, learning to recognize even more events like motoring or motorsailing.
Connectivity & Compatibility
To log your boat’s instrument data, the Hub must be connected to your NMEA2000 network – either via cable or WiFi if you use a NMEA0183 WiFi multiplexer. Adapters are available for Raymarine SeaTalk NG.

Access from Anywhere
Thanks to Smartboatia Cloud, you can view your logbook from anywhere – whether you’re at home, in the office, or on another boat.
You can also let friends follow along.
Just make sure the Hub is connected to the internet, so the data can sync to the cloud.
See our guide to On-Board WiFi Routers for help setting up internet access.

Why it matters on board!
Because you can’t remember everything – but your Smartboatia Hub & App can.
When you’re out sailing, you’re focused on the moment: the wind, the waves, the freedom. Logging data manually often gets forgotten – and with it, valuable insights into your sailing performance and safety.
The Smart Ship’s Log records everything for you: position, weather, movement, maneuvers. You get a full picture of every trip without lifting a finger. Whether you want to analyze a crossing, review performance, or share a journey – the data is already there. Smartboatia helps you sail smarter, safer, and with full context.
It’s your AI-powered co-pilot: Smarter sailing. Safer journeys. Always connected.
