The T-piece is the key connector in the SeaTalk NG system. It branches off the continuous backbone and provides a connection point for a single device, such as an instrument, sensor, or plotter. A complete network needs one T-piece per device, plus backbone cables and at least one T-piece with a power connection.
Note: The Smartboatia Hub has a standard NMEA 2000 connector. To connect it to an existing SeaTalk NG network, you also need a SeaTalk NG to NMEA 2000 adapter.
Compatibility: Compatible with all Raymarine SeaTalk NG backbone cables, spur cables, and devices, and, via an adapter, with any NMEA 2000 compliant network.
