At Smartboatia, we are dedicated to protecting the environment. That's why we've chosen a reusable gear case instead of traditional cardboard packaging. This case not only minimizes waste but also provides practical storage for various items that typically fly around the boat.

Please note: For integration with your boat's NMEA bus, a NMEA connector cable is required. This cable needs to be purchased separately as it is specific to your boat's setup. You can purchase this cable from marine stores, online retailers, or other specialty suppliers.

Important Safety and Usage Instructions for the Smartboatia Hub

Warning: Failure to observe the following warnings and safety instructions may result in an accident causing serious or even fatal injuries. It can also lead to damage to the device, fire, chemical burns, leakage of electrolytes, and/or injuries.

Battery: The device includes a battery for operating the real-time clock. Improper handling can shorten the battery's lifespan and cause damage to the device. Do not disassemble, alter, repurpose, puncture, or damage the device or the battery. Do not expose the device to fire or extreme conditions that could lead to explosions or other hazards.

Device Warnings: The Smartboatia Hub must be installed at least 2 meters away from radio equipment, compasses, and radar devices to avoid interference. Never install the hub in the engine room, as the high temperatures there can cause damage. Although the hub is splash-proof, we recommend installing it inside the vessel in a dry environment to ensure optimal function and safety. The hub is not suitable for use in commercial shipping and must not be used for navigation purposes. Unattended operation of the hub should be avoided.

Software License Agreement: The use of the Smartboatia Hub is subject to the terms of our software license agreement. By using the device, you acknowledge these terms. The exact provisions can be found in the Smartboatia App or on our website.

Environmental and Disposal Instructions: This device must not be disposed of with normal household waste. Dispose of the device and/or the battery in accordance with local regulations at an authorized collection point.
