Right of Withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party designated by you, other than the carrier, took possession of the goods.
(Note: Smartboatia voluntarily grants an extended withdrawal period of 30 days from receipt of the goods for the Hub.)
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us (Smartboatia GmbH, Teutendorfer Weg 37, 23570 Lübeck, Germany, e-mail: info@smartboatia.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the model withdrawal form provided below, but this is not mandatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication exercising your right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Consequences of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will repay all payments we have received from you, without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive notification of your withdrawal from this contract. We will use the same means of payment as you used for the original transaction unless expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any charges as a result of such repayment.
We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back, or until you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You must send back or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the fourteen-day period has expired.
You bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
You are only required to compensate us for any diminished value of the goods if that diminished value is the result of handling the goods in a way that is not necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.
